- My system did not boot at the first try because of wrong cabeling. I
- connected the end of the SCSI cable that's labeled to fit into the ZIP into
- the computer. After fixing this, it works fine. I do not have another
- external device, though.
-
- Does anyone know how to speed up booting when no disk is inserted? My
- software setup does 3 reset cycles before it finally boots up, meaning 3
- times waiting for the lengthy disk-inserted-check. Cutting the ZIPs power
- supply does not help, because one of my internal HDs then disappears
- (termination problem?). I have to disconnect the SCSI cable too, which is
- quite an unconfortable process.
