  20. My  system  did  not  boot  at  the first try because of wrong cabeling.  I
  21. connected the end of the SCSI cable that's labeled to fit into the ZIP into
  22. the  computer.   After  fixing  this, it works fine.  I do not have another
  23. external device, though.

  25. Does  anyone  know  how  to  speed up booting when no disk is inserted?  My
  26. software  setup  does  3 reset cycles before it finally boots up, meaning 3
  27. times  waiting for the lengthy disk-inserted-check.  Cutting the ZIPs power
  28. supply  does  not  help,  because  one  of  my internal HDs then disappears
  29. (termination  problem?).  I have to disconnect the SCSI cable too, which is
  30. quite an unconfortable process.
